I'm Alive!

Hello all...

After some time away, I'm making a return to some writing. I should have been a bit more active here with the blog at least, but some personal issues and some other things I've had to deal with have kept my mind elsewhere. My apologies to the faithful out there!

I do want to thank those that messaged me in Twitter or Tumblr checking up on me and my well-being. It was very much appreciated!

Now, on to the plan here...

My Best Bud needs a wrap, folks. Let me know how you would like to see it go.
My thoughts were to fade out the summer with a decent summary chapter and have Shane and TJ heading off to Stanford (University).

Their story can always continue, and it's always been a plan to come back to them in the future, telling some tales of college life.

Todd's tales at the gym needs to continue a bit too, with only Part One written and published on Nifty so far. I do have stories to tell there though, so that shouldn't be too difficult. These are actually based on things that have happened. So... I have memories there to write about.

Give me some inspiration!
Let me know what you want to read. Doing this will absolutely keep me on track writing more.

My Best Bud - Update

Chapter 12 is getting a start today. I'm looking for an ending to this either in this chapter or maybe lucky 13! It's time to move on to something else. Of course Todd's fun at the gym will continue, but with MBB on my mind and where to go now, it's difficult to get anything else out. I don't see a total end to hearing about Shane and TJ though, but their discovery time is over, and there has been a lot of fun at the beach house. The next book in their story will be their college journey, I think.

Okay, I'm Slow!

So, I've been working on the catfish story. The story keeps going through some major changes and I've actually started over completely a few times now. It is finally going pretty good now. However, I've realized it sure won't be very erotic at all. Really, no explicit sex, and the way it is being told, or actually from the eyes and mind telling the story there isn't really a good way to introduce much eroticism at all. I am enjoying writing it though.

Let's face it though. It is being written to post for you on Nifty, and we all go to Nifty for a good erotic story. I know I do! I have an idea of how to introduce some juicy stuff, and it won't require me to start over. I will only need to go back and add some of the "juice."

With some time on my hands this afternoon, I'll get to work on it. No promises, but I would like to get it submitted today!

It Has Been a While!

Sorry I've been away for a bit. After some company was staying with us for 12 days, I've been working on several projects that have occupied a lot of my time. There is still one project to go, a very simple website to build up, but that shouldn't take a lot of time the few days I'll be spending on that.

Since it is only a little after 4 PM here, I'll open up the folder of stories on my server and see what I can work on right now. Maybe even get something submitted to Nifty yet tonight!

I'm also going to add an entry for chapter 11 of My Best Bud on Patreon for those that have been asking where it is. Thanks for those that are heading over to donate a buck when you can!

My Best Bud Update - Chapter 11

Chapter 11 of My Best Bud is finally finished and I just submitted it for posting on Nifty.

I don't know why, but it did take some work getting this one out. I would start in on it and not like where it was going after a page or two. I ended up deleting all that I had written twice and starting over. It still isn't right in my mind, but I'm going with it! I hope you like it.

I'm Back!

I hope to get to write some tomorrow. Chapter 11 of MBB needs work, I had started a second part of TGS, and I have something fun that I'm working on that I can't wait for you to read.

All of this was put on hold as my laptop was stolen a week ago Saturday. My new one arrived today!

This evening was spent getting it setup, more accurately, staring at a blue screen for hours telling me that Windows is updating. That all out of the way, I'm starting to get all of my software installed.  

I'll post something more tomorrow as I work on recovery.

Gym / Shower Story Work

After receiving quite a few emails telling me their love of shower and gym scenes, I'm working on a short now. No multi-chapter story, just a little story around an experience. If there is a good response, there's a possibility that I could write about this guys experiences at the gym.

As soon as I submit, I'll post here. I don't have a title yet, but I'll use the working title of "Todd's Gym Stories," and make this the main the title with each story having a name too.

My Best Bud - Chapter 8 Update

What Next?

My Best Bud is really going on longer than I planned it. This story was just to be two, maybe three posts. Obviously, it has turned into something bigger. This happened because of you and so many emails I receive wanting it to go on, wanting more. The plan now is to introduce Nathan, come to some plateau in the relationship between TJ and Shane, and send them off to college. The hope is to accomplish this in just a few more chapters. This will bring a close to My Best Bud. Expect a chapter each week.

This doesn't mean an end to Shane's story. I'm sure he will have things to tell us once he is having fun in Stanford, California on and around the Stanford campus. Look for Best Buds on Campus for those tales, coming soon!

What do you want to read? Leave a comment letting me know what piques your interest! There is an idea floating around in my mind for a series about a cruisy spot, maybe a public bathroom, college campus bathroom, or a park. If I go with something like this, should the story have a main character and it center around their experiences? It could be that the story is told by a voyeur who likes to watch the goings-on around the spot. Let me know what you think.

Finally, chapter 8 was submitted last night (Pacific Time). Hopefully it is posted in the next couple of hours. Sorry for all of the delays getting it out there. I've been working on quite a few projects lately, so it leaves only an hour or so late in the day to do any writing. Two big projects I was working on are out of the way, so I should have a little more "free time" to write.

Finally! The finishing words of chapter seven landed on the page just a couple of hours ago. Then, after some re-reading and a few things fixed (hope I found everything), I just sent it off to be posted.

Thank you for your patience with this one. Getting sick was pretty sucky. I couldn't really do much of anything but lay around and sleep! Thank you too, to those that sent me well-wishes! I've got quite a few emails in my inbox from you, and I have read them all from my phone. I will try to sit here now and answer some.

Among the Living...

Finally, I'm starting to feel a bit better. Now it's all in my chest. A horrid sounding cough is all I'm dealing with during the day. Mornings and nights are a little rough, but we will see how it goes tonight. Still pretty achy and it's difficult to actually sleep, although I've been falling asleep all throughout the day.

Anyway, thank you for your well-wishes! Now it's time to get to some more writing. I'll keep going as long as I can.

Under the Weather

Only getting a start with a few paragraphs on chapter seven yesterday, I'm hoping to get a little more writing done this afternoon. Whatever has been going around finally caught up with me and took me out late in the day yesterday. Feeling horrible, I couldn't finish it last night.

This morning I wake up still feeling pretty crappy. It's 1:25 PM here in California and I haven't ventured out of the bedroom yet. I did take a nice hot bath and then shower a few hours ago. That helped the soreness in my neck and muscles all over my body. Yeah, it kinda feels like the flu. After quite a bit of ibuprofen now, my headache has at least decreased. So I'm feeling like maybe I can leave the bedroom and head downstairs. I really want some tea!

Chapter seven will be done when it's done guys. Sorry for getting sick, believe me, I'm really sorry!

My Best Bud Update 2 - and How Long Should a Chapter Go?

To everyone that sent an email about chapter five, thank you! It was a short chapter, but I'm so happy everyone that emailed liked it. A few of you suggested a much longer chapter than usual to make up for it. Well, it's already going there. I'm thinking I will need to break it into two parts.

That brings me to another question. What size chapter is appropriate for posting to a website?
When I'm writing erotic stories, not thinking about posting them to a website, my chapters generally run around 9,000 to 11,000 words, around 20 pages. For My Best Bud, I've tried to keep it a bit smaller, around 2,500 to 3,000 words, or just over five pages in the word processor. Comment with your thoughts, please!

Chapter six is already where I would ending a chapter, but there is so much more to happen yet. It's already sitting at 3,500 words, or over eight pages in the word processor, and I've got at least that much more to write! Should it be broken into two parts? Your thoughts and feedback on this would be helpful too!

It was my goal, and I was truly hoping to, finish chapter six yesterday and submit it. I didn't make it. There were a few interruptions, and I also needed to step away and just take a break for a bit at one point too. Around 10:00 PM I decided I needed to stop writing and finish today.

It is just after 10:00 AM now, I'm sitting outside on my back porch with a mocha... Time to write!

Chapter five is up! It's a really quick read, and hopefully not too disappointing to everyone, there's no sex. I needed to write just something quick to develop things a bit and move the story along.

No worries though, Chapter six is flowing out onto the screen right now, and it should have some steam to it. It should be finished in just a bit and I'll submit it tonight.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from San Francisco. The hubby and I made the trek over the mountain, through San Jose and traffic, and picked up our nephew visiting from Mexico City.

It was a fun afternoon and night, hitting a few bars and welcoming in the new year together. It wasn't as crowded as we thought it would be.

It's noon, so time to grab a beer and a bite to eat. Heading to Harvey's for that. Then time to be a total tourist. We'll head to the wharf and walk around heading down to Ghirardelli Square.
