I too share a similar background with you. I was born/raised in a small Oklahoma town graduated high school class of '81. I agree you just didn't live an out gay life back then. Not if you wanted a life anyway. Growing up I honestly wasn't sure what i could expect in the way of a future. Not like we had role models of any kind of example in those days of a happy gay married couple to look up to. Things have changed, although I still have a hard time seeing my former home town as being any different.
Keep up the great story, I'm very happy you didn't end it of just a few chapters and I hope you've got several more before you move on to the next project.

John is 100% correct. Chapter 10 is off the charts. And I also fully agree with his last paragraph, "Keep up the great story .... next project."
